Sunday School begins by going to the church worship center (sanctuary). There is a table in the entry where you may register or pick up your name tags. The children then worship with the parents for the first part of the worship service at 9:45.
During the worship service there is an experience with the pastor called “Children’s Time”. At the conclusion of this time with the pastor, the children then process out to the narthex, where helpers and teachers guide the children to the classrooms. Preschoolers through 4th grade go to the education building. Grades 5-8 go to the Youth Room.
Lissa Alexander, our children’s ministry director oversees the Sunday School ministry and has a wonderful staff of caring and dedicated teachers.
Leana Kemp, our youth director, oversees the program for 5-8th graders in the youth room The curriculum is called “Grapple” and is intended to have the children apply their faith to their life.
